Denmark’s Crown Prince Frederik and his wife, Princess Mary, are in Korea for three days this week to celebrate the 60th anniversary of diplomatic ties between Korea and Denmark.

On May 21, the royal couple attended a Korean-Danish Business Conference held at Seoul’s Shilla Hotel, focusing on agreements in seven different sectors.

Their royal highnesses participated in seminars and activities throughout the day including a food and ingredients seminar, a healthcare roundtable and a panel discussion on green transition.

The royal couple will take part in launching the 2019 Danish-Korean Year of Culture during their visit.

This is the first visit to Seoul by the crown prince and princess of Denmark since 2012.
