The finals of the competition under the annual K-pop Lovers Festival will be held from May 11-12 at Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc Square nearby Hoan Kiem Lake in Hanoi. The event is designed to promote Korean pop culture and foster interactions among K-Pop fans. Among other highlights are performances by a b-boy crew from Seoul and programs allowing visitors to make kimchi or try Korean beauty products.

London, U.K.
The exhibition “Minhwa: The Beauty of Korean Folk Paintings” will be held until May 18 at the Korean Cultural Center in London. Organized by Keimyung University of Korea, the event, the first of its kind to be held in the U.K., will display approximately 20 folk paintings that satirically portray the lives of the working class of the late Joseon Dynasty (1392-1910).

Budapest, Hungary
A series of concerts featuring Europe-based Korean musicians will kick off from May 24 at the Budapest Music Center. Novus String Quartet, a Korean chamber music ensemble, will be the first to perform. Heo Trio, a jazz ensemble formed by a Korean composer, will then take the stage on May 25.

Nantes, France
The seventh annual Printemps Coréen (Korean Spring) festival will take place from May 16 to June 2 in the western French city of Nantes. Korean and French dancers will perform under the theme “From Movement to Dance.”
