Korea and Mexico have agreed to expand cooperation on tourism.
On Sept. 20, Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Cho Yoonsun held a meeting in Seoul with Mexican Minister of Tourism Enrique de la Madrid to discuss ways to increase tourism between their two countries.

The ministers shared their opinions on how their countries could carry out the “Specific Program on Cooperation in the Field of Tourism for 2016-2017,” an agreement that was signed during President Park Geun-hye’s state visit to Mexico in April this year.
“If our two nations, with our long histories and cultural roots, join hands and combine our strengths, we would be able to arrive at a turning point that would be a push forward for our culture and tourism industries,” said Minister Cho.
