President Yoon Suk Yeol from Sept. 18-24 visited the U.K., U.S. and Canada for five nights and seven days. In London from Sept. 18-19, he attended the state funeral of Queen Elizabeth II. Afterwards, he flew to New York to participate in the 77th United Nations General Assembly from Sept. 20-21. In Canada, the final leg of his trip, he held a summit in Ottawa with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau on boosting bilateral cooperation. The presidential office in Seoul said the president’s three-country trip constituted economic diplomacy through conducting sales diplomacy, boosting the supply network for high-tech industries, and creating the basis for cooperation in science and technology and future-growth sectors.
