Prime Minister Lee Nak-yon on June 26 held talks with Azerbaijani Parliamentary Speaker Ogtay Asadov in Seoul on expanding bilateral collaboration.
“Let’s continue to foster the relationship between the two countries based on the summit and parliamentary meetings,” Asadov said. “Azerbaijan is trying to serve as a bridge between Europe and Asia in areas such as the distribution industry, and more opportunities are expected for bilateral cooperation.”
Lee said in response, “Korea’s experience in economic development and Azerbaijan’s natural resources can be combined and lead to joint projects that bring a mutually beneficial economic relationship.”
