The process of rice transplantation begins in Jiok-myeon Village, Hamyang-gun County, Gyeongsangnam-do Province, on April 19. This is the first rice planting in Hamyang-gun County this year, and some 2.2 ha of rice is being is planted using specialized rice planters.

The first rice planting has started in Hamyang-gun County, Gyeongsangnam-do Province, this year.
The first rice was transplanted at a farm in Jiok-myeon Village, Hamyang-gun County, Gyeongsangnam-do Province, at the foot of Jirisan Mountain, on April 19. The farmers planted a total of 2.2 ha of rice.
On April 19, as spring arrives in the air, rice planting has also gotten underway in Daegu and around Yangyang-gun County in Gangwon-do Province.
