We are at the Seoul Plaza on May 21, where an official ceremony is taking place for the footballers that will represent Team Korea at the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia next month.

With just 24 days left to go before big event, most of the footballers on the World Cup roster are here at the ceremony, up on stage, greeting the fans.

Team Korea’s captain Ki Sung-yueng, forward Son Heung-min and rising star Lee Seung-woo are here dressed in their team uniform. Football legends Cha Bum-kun and Hong Myung-bo are here to give their support to the players.

The team will continue their training at home until June 3, at which point the final roster will be narrowed down to 23 players.

Once the World Cup kicks off on June 14, Team Korea — in Group F –will play against Sweden on June 18, Mexico on June 23, and Germany on June 27.
