On the evening of March 1, a regular otter, Lutra lutra, Korea’s Natural Monument No. 330 and a level-one endangered species on the peninsula, poses for the camera with a fish in its mouth in the Eomcheongang River, near Jirisan Mountain in Hyucheon-myeon Village, Hamyang-gun County, Gyeongsangnam-do Province.
Otters inhabit areas with plenty of undergrowth, water and food.
