The Seoul International Wines & Spirits Expo 2019, which began on June 20 at the Seoul COEX, features a variety of global wines and liquor and advances in related industries.

To run through June 22, the event displays wines, beers, snacks and accessories as well as seminars and conferences. This year’s edition highlights beer from around the world and exhibitions of the equipment industry and traditional liquor worldwide, providing a feast for the palate and nose.

The National Wine Agency of the Republic of Georgia is participating in the exhibition for the first time, offering samples of wines made with 525 types of grapes.

The agency’s deputy chairman David Tkemaladze said, “About ten (Georgian) companies are participating in the expo. Georgian wines come in various types that are freely consumable and suitable for everyone.”

Jin Young Woo, CEO of Zhenrong Trading Co., said, “We attended to introduce our white liquor to Korea,” showing his willingness to market new Chinese liquor in the country. His company imports Daekukgongjang, which was selected as the official spirit of the “One Belt One Road Initiative” summit of China.
