White flowers will bloom in the shape of the Korean Peninsula on the grass at Seoul Plaza to mark the upcoming Inter-Korean Summit.

Some 1,000 square meters of land in the shape of the Korean Peninsula will be covered with flowers from April 13 to 27, the actual date of the Inter-Korean Summit.

During this period, visitors to Seoul Plaza will be able to take pictures at a photo zone with the flowers in the background.

“The flowers arranged in the shape of the Korean Peninsula convey the wishes of the citizens of Seoul who all hope for a successful Inter-Korean Summit and for lasting peace across the region,” said an official from the Seoul Metropolitan Government.
